How to use it
After clicking on a viewing a message, you can view a message's current status and vote one whether the content is appropriate. Below is a diagram, explaining each part:
The icon under current status shows whether the majority of votes approve or disapprove of the message's level of appropriateness. Once a message falls below a certain threshold, it will be permanently deleted.
What does voting do?
Users are asked to help control the content on this website by voting on whether messages are appropriate or not. This system is a completely democratic process. Once a certain threshold of
votes in ratio to
votes are received, the message will be deleted as well as all replies to that message.
It is as important to vote in favor of appropriate messages as it is to vote against inappropriate ones in order to maintain a proper balance of free expression.
Other Details:
The system which controls the deletion of messages is controlled by the votes of the users of this website. Additionally, older messages are also automatically removed.
